The GO Travel Solutions team are proactive advocates for high quality sustainable transport. They have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by modern day bus operators, but also know what good looks like, and work closely in partnership with operators, local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure that the end user is at the forefront of everybody's mind when transport interventions are being designed and delivered. They are also highly effective at assisting operators with growing demand for bus services through a range of promotional activities, including providing an on the ground presence within developments and at community events, and through the intuitive SmartGO and LocalGO platforms, which help signpost potential passengers to our bus services.

The University Hospitals of Leicester can offer staff a wide range of discounted travel options through SmartGO Leicester that was previously not available.

The work GO Travel Solutions has done has been exceptional. They have successfully engaged 26 businesses and contacted several others, and have increased awareness of sustainable modes of transport amongst employees.

GSK have been involved with SmartGO in Stevenage since its inception. We take our corporate social responsibilities very seriously and anything we can do to help encourage the use of lower-carbon transport by our employees, is a major benefit.

We used GO Travel Solutions to carry out a thorough staff and student travel survey to inform the next phase of our travel plan. We threw everything at them – tough timescales, last minute meetings, a hard to reach audience, tight budget and a demanding brief – and they delivered everything we needed and more.

The promotion of sustainable transport is a vital part of creating sustainable and healthy places and communities, and Wintringham – with its proximity to St Neots and a mainline station just a short cycle away – provides real opportunities to ensure residents moving in choose cycle, walking or public transport options over their cars. We have and will continue to roll out the key infrastructure to support this from the first tree planted to the last brick laid. The role of activating that, and creating a culture of “car last, not car first” for travel choices requires strong partnership working and we are pleased to be working with GO Travel Solutions to help deliver our sustainable options for this exciting new community.

Over the last three years, the support of GO Travel Solutions and their knowledge and understanding of how employers can benefit from considering sustainable transport options, has successfully helped us to engage with around 300 local businesses and develop our programme significantly.

Mather Jamie have engaged GO Travel Solutions since 2018. In their role as Travel Plan Coordinators for New Lubbesthorpe, GO Travel Solutions continue to demonstrate their commitment to our needs as a client and the sustainable travel requirements of residents of New Lubbesthorpe. Their development of bespoke bus services for the community and engaging with residents using their LocalGO scheme, demonstrate their forward-thinking, passion and commitment to sustainability.
